Yeah I've been using it for a while now. Managed to save up for a few free nights. Haven't redeemed it yet though. Looking through the myVegas friends page, lots of people have redeemed comps.
Do you already have an Mlife card? It just links to that. It's pretty cool.

I just recently started playing it so I don;t really know how it works just yet. Trying to save up for a couple things before my trip in two months.
Played starting late February and just returned from a trip to Vegas a couple weeks ago. The rewards were absolutely great - between my partner and I, we got the equivalent of $780 of comps free, just from the game.
You will need to get an mLife card/number. If you're redeeming shows or rooms, you'll want to do this before you head down - there's an online form you fill out. If you're just doing food/drink comps, you can just get the number when you're down there.
If you've got specific questions, feel free to ask. MGM is absolutely promoting the heck outta this program down there, so it's very well supported and I'd imagine it will be around for quite a while.
Is this a limited time thing or will it be around for a while? I won't be legal in the States for another year so would it be worth it to start collecting now and see how much I can collect?

I think the points don't expire so you would be good starting now. You can probably get quite a few free rooms in a years time.
Any hints or strategies? Chips are hard to come by. I've collected most of them from random links already

I used the rewards on my recent vegas trip and they are great. We redeemed hundreds of dollars worth of rewards with little hassle. One limitation to keep in mind is they only let you redeem 3 rewards in a 30 day period, so save up for the big rewards. It is quite a bit of a grind for the good rewards though.

Request to join this FB group - there's a pinned post at the top that has a general strategy guide, and there's probably a good 60k worth of chips you can gather from their 500+ chip share link, if you haven't got them already:
I followed their strategy guide up until around level 50 or so, at which point I got annoyed with the chip loss from the slots, and started playing blackjack instead (except for when building hotels - those I did on the slots at lowest possible bets until the hotels were finished). Collected about 100k chips, and then basically played basic strategy blackjack, flat betting 1% of my starting stack, and then re-adjusting every 100k or so (so at 100k I bet 1000, 200k was 2000, etc. up to 10k at 1 million). I'm now sitting at well over 1.5 million chips, which will be enough of a bankroll to keep me going for a while.
Because I had a relatively short time to play (~6 weeks), I focused on levelling up quickly since I could get 1000 LP every time I levelled. Blackjack is the best way to do that, because the house edge is so much lower than it is with slots. You don't have to know how to play blackjack to do it (I'd never played before) - just find a 6 deck basic strategy chart, and follow that.
I did buy one of the $5 chip packages, since if you buy $5 of chips you get to use an extra reward within a 30 day period. If you just play for free, you only get to use 3 rewards within any 30 day period, but I figured spending $5 for an extra $100+ reward was worth it. But that's all explained in the FAQs in that FB group I linked above.

This. When I was building hotels I bet the absolute minimum on slots to get the V cards. They don't seem to appear any quicker betting big, so if you bet the minimum you get hotels while spending less chips. Then I bet bigger if I had to level up to get the next permit.
I have never paid to buy credits for this app and have a little over 300,000 loyalty points. Plan on going to vegas in june. Bought 2 different 2 night stay packages at new york new york. Was planning on using together for 4 free nights but not sure if i can now after reading fine print "not combined with other offers".
I think this was MGM's response to Slotomania, which is owned by Ceasar's. MGM took it the next step, because Slotomania isn't linked to Caesar's players cards.
Quick question on the sharing. Does this mean you have to post all this stuff to your wall? Not a big fan of spamming my own wall with hundreds of these posts.
