Off we go into the wild blue yonder, as the Flames visit Winnipeg tonight. With both teams going 6-4 in their last ten games, tonight could be a dogfight. Meanwhile, a certain puppet seeks to create a little turbulence for Air Winnipeg:

Spoiler!

Go Flames

Should be a good game tonight, looking forward to it. You never like to see a star player injured, but hopefully the Flames can take advantage of a Laine-less Jets team and play like they did against the Canucks (minus the 2nd period).

No, they "kick the tires and light the fires, big daddy!"

And then lose to a vastly superior opponent

It seems to me that when a team loses a star player to injury, it often does very well in the next few games - maybe the players step it up a bit, realizing they don't have the star around to bail them out. Certainly the Flames provide a few examples: making the playoffs without Giordano; or their better performance after th Gaudreau injury.
Bottom line - the Flames should expect an extra hard-working effort from the Jets tonight.

Another must win game for the team. Jets have solid individual talent but are poorly coached so this is a team the Flames need to beat if they want to do more than just hang around the playoff hunt. Also a meeting of two of the most undisciplined teams in the league so with the Flames special teams being on fire that could be the difference.

It is fantastic! From China. Ordered in Nov 2016, received today, almost 2 months of waiting, but was worth it! Really happy about the new look!

That's awesome great work Treliving, I can't wait until he's healthy enough to join the team.

I can only assume that, with Winnipeg's goalie issues, it was Elliott for Laine.

Haha if the Flames had Laine, I think we would be first in the division. Flames win tonight 3-1

I would do unspeakable things to see Laine on the Right wing with Johnny and Monny.
