I'll reiterate what I said in he GT. In an 82 game season you're going to games where this happens. Totally dominated the play but end up losing. We ran into a hot goaltender and ours wasn't great (albeit I can only really think of one goal that was a softie). I think if you can outshoot the opposition 3:1 you're going to win a lot more than you lose. Tonight was just one of those nights. The general climate around here is awful when we lose, as can be expected with passionate fans, but the OOT helped out. Florida took care of Nashville, and Arizona might hold Anaheim to one point.

That was the textbook definition of a "frustrating hockey game".

Elliott drops a massive turd. Nothing more to say. Frustrating.

Yeah when your offense plays that well and it's a of battle keepers hard not to give some of the weight of that to Elliot. Not saying kill him and his family, just this one game.

Hate these types of games. So annoying. 46 shots, while the Canucks get 4 goals on 13 shots or whatever it was. Gross.

Flames were the better team, and the effort was pretty good. Miller had a good game and was definitely the better of the two goalies. Probably the difference. Get revenge tomorrow, Flames.

Honestly, a lot to be happy with in that game.

Play the same game tomorrow with 1 or 2 less bad turnovers leading to goals and we probably win 6-1. Let's slaughter them tomorrow.

So is it more frustrating to lose out playing the opposition like that, or when you fail to show up and get outplayed?

I think it's more frustrating during the game to lose like we did tonight, but after the fact it's less upsetting knowing the team will likely win more than they lose when playing that way.

I hate the Canucks sooooo much, but what more can you do after this game but laugh?

That is an awful team that inexplicably won a game against a clearly superior team.
