By Spangler Cup standards (non-lockout years) it looks pretty typical.

I always enjoy the Spengler Cup. Fun to watch a game and say "so THAT'S where (insert ex-NHLer's name here) wound up!".
HC Davos has the best player photos ever:

Hmmmm when is tryouts next year? I might go.
I'm starting to think some of the beer league teams I played on would compete with those rosters

must've been a late addition; he didn't get the same robo-athlete treatment as the rest of the team.
edit: good article about Dave King on the tournament website:

Canada's Spengler team is made up of players who play for Euro clubs only, right? AHL guys can't go I assume.

The Spangler Cup is kinda like my great uncle. I see it once around Christmas and think to myself "huh, Your still around"

AHL'ers can go if their team allows it. The Rochester Americans participated as a team in 2013 and in 1996.

How does Zach Fucale end up on that team?

Yup. When we were at the Spengler in 2010, one of the goalies from Team Canada was Jeff Deslauriers, who was loaned to Team Canada by the OK Barons.

I've always wanted to go to this. It just seems like it would be an amazing event to attend.

It is. It's just a crazy time, a teeny arena (seats just under 6500) that is packed with die-hard fans. If you ever go, do at least one game in the standing room section with HC Davos fans. The one downside is that Switzerland is hideously expensive, especially in a resort town like Davos.

I love the tiny arenas, they look like they would be a blast!
I've heard Switzerland is expensive, but I'm thinking one day my wife and I will go and attend this tournament.
One day...not any time soon.
