Default WJC: Preliminary Round Day 4. DEN vs CZE. RUS vs USA. FIN vs SWE. LAT vs CAN.

4 games. All 5 Flames prospects in action today.

The most interesting game will likely be USA vs Russia. USA has only faced the two weakest teams in Group B so far. Russia will be their first true test in the tourney and the game will definitely play a role in the seedings for the medal rounds.

Sweden vs Finland is usually a classic matchup. However, Finland has gone winless in their first 2 games and have disappointed so far as the defending gold medalists.

Canada has a pretty much guaranteed win against Latvia. Would need to be an epic game for the Latvians to get the W.

Denmark vs Czechia - 11am TSN1

Russia vs USA - 1pm TSN1
Flames prospects:
Russia #19 Pavel Karnaukhov
USA #8 Adam Fox
USA #1 Tyler Parsons

Finland vs Sweden - 3:30pm TSN2
Flames prospects:
Sweden #7 Oliver Kylington

Latvia vs Canada - 5:30pm TSN1
Flames prospects:
Canada #9 Dillon Dube

Wowww Keller. Sucks that he is a Coyotes prospect.

Parsons had zero chance on that.

Shorty for Russia. 1-1. Tough one for Parsons, no chance.

That was a crazy goal by Russia to level up. The kid swatted a puck from mid air on a short handed 2 on 1.

I find myself cheering for the Russians in this game.

USA vs the Ruskies is looking like being a great game if anyone is on th fence about tuning in. End to end stuff and quite chippy already.

The Danish celebrations in the room are awesome.

Euro people know how to have fun at hockey games.

Parsons is going full God mode to try to get USA's first win over Russia in six tries. Might be our best prospect, period.

Haha Russia gives up a penalty shot for intentionally knocking off the net.
