My God, is Wideman actually underrated? He's a perfectly serviceable #4D. He isn't the problem on his pairing.
Did you not see how he killed all the momentum when we had the Coyotes hemmed in their own zone and tired. He bobbled the puck at the blue line which almost led to a goal. He is NOT an NHL d-man. He has a decent shot but that is it and he is a liability out there more than not.
He's doing better than I thought this year but yes I still can't wait till he is gone. His "strength" of getting the shot through is a total myth. Now Dougie, there's a guy that gets the shot through.
Elliott back in? I wasn't expecting that. Outside of his two brain farts last night, I thought he played really well. Hopefully that carries over to tonight.

That is scorpion's predicted/hopeful lineup. Nothing official yet.

Sharks vs Flames game are always fast, physical and exciting games. It's my favourite opponent for the Flames to play. And I have the day off tomorrow, so yay for late games!!

Wideman did in fact used to be very good at getting shots through. But he seems to have lost that ability last season.
I can't wait for him to be gone, and this is coming from someone who liked the signing. But to his credit he's played a lot better recently. His offence may be down, but he's probably being asked to tone it down and play it safe. In that regard, he's done a fine job recently.
At this rate he might fetch a decent return at the deadline.

Bad luck not a bad play. Puck took a brutal bounce right before it got to his stick. or are you blaming him for the condition of the ice. I am far from a Wideman supporter but he has been just fine lately.
I am in for sitting Jokipakka though. I think he has had a string of bad games lately and looks a little jerky/shaky out there. Sit him and see what Wotherspoon has to offer. Hopefully a nice quiet game.
