What parts of Flames Games are the most fun/exciting for you?
Ok, we all tune in to watch the flames win, that one is obvious. But aside from that, what are your favorite things to see in Flames games? Here are some examples:
- Johnny dangles, deking out players
- power play scoring
- great goaltending
- high scoring games
- fights
- big hits
- watching the young guys continuously improve
- systems play
- rookies
- great passing plays
I think for me right now I am most excited about Johnny creativity, Ferland smashes and slick passing plays resulting in goals. Have to say guiltily fights get me pretty pumped as well (as long as it's not an ivanans type situation). I am also currently pretty interested in our pest guys (Hathaway and Tkachuk) getting under people's skin.

Johnny is easily the best part of watching the Flames right now.
I like watching Bennett drive hard to the net.
Any time the tension ratchets up like when there is a Flames PK when they are up a goal or a PP when they are down one or tied.
Breakaways.
Desperation plays/saves.
And I love being at the dome when they Flames play a hard fought period and it ends when they are ahead on the scoreboard. Everyone in the crowd is feeling good and offers up a loud ovation and Flames fans are in a great mood during the intermission.

Nothing is more satisfying than watching the zamboni clean the ice. Something fulfilling about going from messy ice to a clean fresh sheet.

I like it when the Backlund line hits the ice.
Have also been enjoying Hathaway shifts.

For me it's nice defensive plays. Watching Gaudreau dangle is awesome, watching Gaudreau back check, lift the stick, and go the other way? That's why I watch hockey.
I love watching Engelland on the PK. He just is always doing something smart to thwart a high quality chance. When it's down low he takes away the pass beautifully.
So in a nut shell, good defensive play and positioning.

The very rare moments when Johnny's name is being roared out by Beasley while he's on a breakaway, and then scores immediately.
