The Flames are doing good right now, so there is no need for major changes but what do you guys think of:

Johnny-Monahan-Bennett

Bennett likes to play wing and he is better on the wing, than he is on center(for now in his career).

I don't know where Bennett fits on the Flames team but he will be a important piece going forward, I just have no idea where he fits in?

Why the hell would you mess with lines that are producing? Just keep the lines we've been winning with:

Gaudreau-Bennett-Chiasson
Ferland-Monahan-Brouwer

Stop making changes just for the sake of making changes. When it stops working, then think about shuffling things

Hartley tried that line last year and if i remember correctly it didn't work out. If Bennett plays wing he seems to be much better on the left.

That being said, they should not change a thing right now.

For about a half a game. Hard to draw any conclusions.

Regardless, I don't think it's a great idea either. What the Flames need, IMO, is for one of the prospects in the A to take a step forward and step into that role.

If Pribyl (the most likely IMO) or Poirier or Shinkaruk can take that next step, that would round out Monahan's line into a really good top line.

Then you have Tkachuk and Bennett for the next line (I know the Backlund line is awesome right now, but I doubt it's together beyond this year) and maybe Jankowski or Mangiapane can eventually join them.

Then slot just about anybody in with Backlund.

And you've got Ferland and Hathaway and anyone on the 4th line.

That will be a solid lineup. Hopefully we get there by next season, but that's probably asking a lot.
