Who do you think will be selected to the All-Star Game?
It's pretty simple -- who do you think will go?
Bear in mind that each team needs a representative. From each division, six forwards, three defensemen, and two goalies are to be selected.
Who would you pick? Personally, I have it this way:
Metropolitan Division
1. Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh)
2. Evgeni Malkin (Pittsubrgh)
3. Claude Giroux (Philadelphia)
4. John Tavares (NY Islanders)
5. Taylor Hall (New Jersey)
6. Alex Ovechkin (Washington)
1. Ryan McDonagh (NY Rangers)
2. Noah Hanifin (Carolina)
3. Zach Werenski (Columbus)
1. Cory Schneider (New Jersey)
2. Sergei Bobrovsky (Columbus)
Atlantic
1. David Pastrnak (Boston)
2. Auston Matthews (Toronto)
3. Thomas Vanek (Detroit)
4. Alex Radulov (Montreal)
5. Ryan O'Reilly (Buffalo)
6. Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay)
1. Shea Weber (Montreal)
2. Erik Karlsson (Ottawa)
3. Keith Yandle (Florida)
1. Carey Price (Montreal)
2. Tuukka Rask (Boston)
Central
1. Mark Scheifele (Winnipeg)
2. Patrik Laine (Winnipeg)
3. Patrick Kane (Chicago)
4. Tyler Seguin (Dallas)
5. Vladimir Tarasenko (St. Louis)
6. Matt Duchene (Colorado)
1. P.K. Subban (Nashville)
2. Ryan Suter (Minnesota)
3. Duncan Keith (Chicago)
1. Devan Dubnyk (Minnesota)
2. Corey Crawford (Chicago)
Pacific
1. Connor McDavid (Edmonton)
2. Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary)
3. Joe Pavelski (San Jose)
4. Corey Perry (Anaheim)
5. Jeff Carter (Los Angeles)
6. Daniel Sedin (Vancouver)
1. Brent Burns (San Jose)
2. Drew Doughty (Los Angeles)
3. Dougie Hamilton (Calgary)
1. Mike Smith (Arizona)
2. Chad Johnson (Calgary)

I honestly don't care. The games are brutal to watch. I may tune in and out for a few minutes but that's about it. I haven't properly watched an all-star game since back in the 90's when the league had those awesome purple and teal jerseys. I think it was the game where Nolan pointed his corner out on Hasek and scored....actually I lied, the last all-star game I properly watched was Gretzky's last one.

I think Paul Byron is going to be this year's John Scott.

Last years ASG was probably the most entertaining ASG that I've ever seen.
Who knows if that carries over though.

Did you watch any of the 3 on 3? It definitely wasn't brutal to watch.

On players selected I don't think Calgary gets 3 spots so either Hamilton or Johnson is out and someone from Anaheim goes in.

Phoenix needs a rep. I think its OEL. I think McDavid and Sedin are the only shoe in forwards. Sedin because Canucks don't have anyone else.
McDavid
Sedin
Perry/Getzlaf/Kesler/Carter/Pavelski/Gaudreau
Burns
OEL
Fowler/Doughty
Jones
Johnson

Gaudreau is a shoe-in well.
Does anyone have more 3 on 3 points since he's entered the league? Does McDavid even have a 3 on 3 point?

So you have Taylor Hall making it but not Adam Larsson. I approve.

Mike Smith should make it in from AZ (he's in my lineup). I don't know how he's pulling off his numbers in Arizona, but if they continue, he should be a shoo-in.

Couldn't care less I wish the NHL would do away with the all star game. Complete waste of time

I've loved the all-star game all my life and still do. Last year's 3 on 3 was terrific.
