Hey guys, I have a question if anyone can help. Over the long weekend last week my brother and his girlfriend went to NB to visit her parents. He was supposed to fly back last monday but he had an emergency operation to remove his spleen and is flying back to Calgary today -- 7 days late. He works as a scaffolder and does heavy construction jobs and obviously won't be able to do that after this surgery for the next month and a half. He isn't in dire straights, I've passed on a couple bucks as have the parents and he isn't broke, but I know he would rather be working then sitting on his arse for the next month. Anyone know any light temporary work available or where I could look to get that information. His regular job is waiting for him when he is healthy again, but he would like to be working at something for the next month as well.

Has he contacted any of the temp agencies like bowen and some others. I have no idea how they work though but just a thought.

I think his flight gets into Calgary within the hour, and he was just released from Hospital in New Brusnwick on Friday so he hasn't had a chance to any temp agency. I'll look into Bowen and others or pass that along to him thanks.

The safeway by my house looks pretty desparate for people with ads all over the store and at the til.
The thing is, with Safeway I think they are union workers and since he is already in a Union he might have to look for something not unionized. He needs something that keeps his movement to a minimum so he can return to work asap.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I just had my most successful run ever recently. $2500 in two weeks. All in ring games, no cheesy tournament wins.

If you're good, online poker can be exploited for some decent cash.
