Default Black Friday (Week) 2016 Deals

Saw some awesome Lego stuff on sale, not sure if I should start a thread for Black Friday (week) deals for 2016.

Anyhow, massive Lego/Duplo for $40. Seems like a crazy good price, free shipping

http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/lego-dup.../6000193609506

I tend to post video game deals in the respective thread but no worries if people figure this is just clutter and should be deleted.

Legos are sold out but Duplo still alive. Apparently these have been crazy popular in past years. They will come back in stock here and there so hit the links over the next few days. Good luck!

(I'm guessing we'll see these on kijiji shortly, if they are not there already)

Got two sets of the duplo. Tempted to try and get the Classic Creative Box in-store tomorrow morning but I'll wait until next year when my kids are a bit older. Have a feeling there will be Legos all over the house if I get the Classic Creative Box.

I bought a bunch of these Lego sets a couple years ago. They're great for beefing up the Lego collection that's usually filled with speciality pieces from sets.

We bought one for my father-in-law's place that has kept the kids occupied for hours.

Man, I just bought the $35 Lego set that has like 500 pieces. But $40 for 1500 pieces is so much better value, I went out and bought that instead. Now I'm worried that it's too much Lego! Oh well, not for my house, I won't be the one stepping on it.

These sets can be found at actual Walmart stores right?

I might look for a couple, would make awesome Christmas presents for friends with kids (and friends that just like Lego).

Looking for a small, light, laptop on Black Friday. Something like a Del XPS 13 or Asus Zenbook. Most demanding task I need it to do is run lightroom for some raw photo editing. Let me know if you guys see anything!

Unless someone has a sale on Filson gear I'll probably just do my usual thing and get headphones.

I have been monitoring about 20 items in my amazon cart, which are kinda like a wish list – things that I don't really need but wouldn't mind having if the price was attractive (e.g. vinyl records, gadgets, tools etc.). When any of the items go on sale, I get a reminder alert. Interesting fact: all of the prices on the items I monitor have been going up sharply in the past month. I suspect, soon they will all show "discounts" bringing them back to a month ago levels. Oh, the good ole' holiday marketing...
