I recently moved next to Mount Royal. Is that a good deal to work out there if you are not a student? I would also have to pay for parking each time which would start adding a lot of cost.

Anything else near there?

Please help, my muscle is quickly turning to fat

The gym/pool is the only reason I take classes there.

There is a world health club right across from Mt Royal gym.. by the 7-11. But I think it's a dumpy one..

I've worked out at the Mount Royal Gym a few times and its a wonderful facility. ITs practically brand new. But it depends what you are looking for. Im sure you can find clubs at a cheaper rate, but they may not be as nice and my not offer as many services. Mt. Royal gym has everything you would ever need.

I knew it was nice but even after paying the fee you still have to pay to park, i guess that is what bugs me the most. Oh well, maybe I'll do it anyways. Is it very busy in the evenings? Is there lots of equipment or do you have to wait around a lot?

Those alums from back in the day (10 years now since I started there) may remember the old workout room. 3/4 the size of the nearby reading room at the end of the hallway.
Brutal...absolutely brutal....considering how high level the sports teams were....

My wife works out at that WHC by the 7/11 - they completed reno'd it in the spring, and it's in good shape. They also have a babysitting service as well, which is handy for her during the day

It's pretty quiet at night.

I've only waited for... probably.. the cable racks... or maybe one or two machines?? Ever.. (I don't use machines all that much).

Lots of cute girls during the day..

Parking, yeah that'd be a pain, I've never considered it because I just buy a parking pass, taking a few classes I kind of need one.
