Lauri Korpikoski now has four goals with Dallas. You know, the same number as Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. Sigh.

Louis Eriksson scores and then Sutter on the power play, the Canucks tie the game at 3-3. Roussel has scored for Dallas to make 4-3 Stars.

Granlund sure does have a hell of a shot. Canucks win in OT.

Love how the anthem singer in Chicago sang the Canadian anthem in French!

Jim Nill should be taking a lot more heat than he has for not addressing this, especially last season when they could have made a stronger push in the playoffs with even adequate goaltenders.

No one is taking either of those goalies with the cap hits they bring with them, and they can't fit in another goalie that actually stops pucks into their cap

Was at the Canucks game. Full marks to the Canucks who actually out played the Stars for long stretches.

Both goalies were god awful. Canucks are still one of the worst teams I've ever seen in their own end. The third goal was the only goal I wouldn't at least blame partially Miller on though. Only Horvat's goal wasn't on Lehtonen.

Crawford in net for the Chicago Blackhawks as both goalies are playing against the city they were born and raised in. Chicago has a 9-7 edge in shots so far.

Weber gets a bounce when his pass deflects off of Kempny and in...a PPG from Markov and Montoya...Then bad backchecking by rookie Hinostroza leads to a Markov goal, from Galchenyuk and Radulov..2-1 Habs, nearly halfway through regulation

That was a terrific second period in the Habs-Blackhawks game! Toews is the play maker on both Chicago goals, the Blackhawks retake the lead 3-2 after forty minutes and out shot the Habs 13-5 in that period. It is fun going back and forth between the Sportsnet and WGN telecasts.

David Krejci scored midway through the first period for the Bruins and that has been the only goal so far, 1-0 Boston after forty minutes. Varlomov is the only reason the Avalanche is still in this game, the Bruins lead 35-14 in shots

The Rogers' feed is going on and on on how the puck hit the netting in the shift BEFORE Kane's amazing goal...but...even though there should have been a face off, instead of continuous play, the puck DID leave the zone, and an entire shift elapse, before the goal, and despite the fact that the play should have been stopped, the blown call DID NOT lead DIRECTLY to the goal, as only then, would the NHL rule disallow that goal...and, BTW, there will be few more amazing goals than that one.

Vesey and Grabner looking like great acquisitions.

Skeji is a stud defenseman.
