Default Nakladal is on Waivers - Contract Terminated by CAR

Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC

Nakladal (CAR) & Harper (FLA) on waivers, too

Cap-space wise, can we make a claim on Nakladal?

Harper has been a good energy forward for the Panthers. As more guys get healthy again, Harper is the first one to go back down, but due to his age/experience (I think), he's not waiver eligible.

He's similar to Hathaway, but he anticipates the play very well and has some goal scoring finish.

Nakladal might only be a mild improvement on someone like Wideman, but I wouldn't jump at the chance to bring him back.

Sure, this was far down the list of roastable offences anyways.

The biggest problem really in claiming Nakladal is that this team doesnt have room. Maybe he isnt what we thought he was.

Why would we claim him?

Can't wait until he clears so we stop hearing about him

Kulak looks better than the Nakladal, no room for him.

If we have injuries on D, I'd rather see Nakladal than be forced to play Wideman every game that situation.

There was no chance we would have signed him to a stupid contract. Why would you even think that?

I do not want us to take Nak, but I hope someone takes him and he can play in the NHL.

I'd take a stab at Griffith. He's an upgrade on multiple players.

I dunno... he's cheap. If he doesn't take ice time from anyone other then Engellend & Wideman I'd be fine with claiming him
