McDavid undergoing concussion protocol (returns for the 3rd)
Should the NHL just disband until he is healthy again?

Banged his face on the ice, he'll be fine.
They have to go through the proper protocols, I'm glad they did.

Shut 'er down, nothing left to broadcast.
Candlelight vigil, prayer circle, and Hands Across the Nation ceremony to follow.

Yes. Postpone all games immediately. Hold candle lights vigils at all 31 NHL arenas.
Edit: beaten to the candle light vigils joke

And Gaudreau has a stick in his armpits for 5 seconds, slashed, held, cross checked and can't get a call.
Breathe on Connar McFaceplant and you'll get called.

He is back.
TSN and Sportsnet can relax now. No need to flood their webpages with McDavid concussion articles

I've been flipping back and forth and my goodness did they ever whine about him having to leave the game. Made it sound like the Oilers lost their only chance of winning the game with him missing five minutes. Are the Oilers going to simply forfeit games if he ever gets injured and has to miss games?

They pretty much did forfeit all of their games sans McJesus last season didn't they?

Powerplay Quarterback
And of course, TSN and Sportsnet today:
"DID THE NHL MAKE THE RIGHT CALL TO TAKE MCWHINY OUT OF THE GAME?"

In the Sin Bin
Pro sports are on the verge of being sued into extinction and McDavid missing a power play is a hot button topic now. What are they gonna change the rule to "only take ####ty players off the ice if they look as though they may be concussed"
