Geaudreau - Backlund - Frolik line. Why not?
An All-World Cup line. I think with Backlund and Frolik doing well it will give Geaudreau more space and time to do what Geaudreau does. Seems to me that the other teams do not see his present linemates as a threat and center on Geaudreau. Monahan, does have a good accurate shot, but I like Backlund's and Frolik's speed which would be great for Geaudreau too.

Who would play with Monohann? What about Bennet's line? Which one of those would you put Tkachuck with? Would you keep Brody and Geordano together?

Gaudreau Backlund Frolik
Bennett Monahan Brouwer
Looked good to me. I don't mind Bennett on the wing at least for one game. The only thing I didn't like was his idea of sending Tkachuk back.

Ya, thats what I said in PGT. Bennett onto Monahan's wing and this line.
Backlund and Frolik might have more to give. They have been characterized as this defensive duo but put them with an offensive star and who knows? you might create something new.

Well, I think the Flames have enough forwards to piece together 4 lines.
An example might be.
Geaudreau - Backlund - Frolik
Tkachuk - Monahan - Brower
Boama - Bennett - Versteeg
Ferland - Stajan - Chiasson
Flames last place goals again'st in the league, 14 goals scored with 5 games played.

Wow, you matched my lineup! LOL I totally agree! I also like Backlund and Frolik on a line that will match well again'st many of the league's #1 lines.

Backlund and Frolik are going against other teams top lines while still managing to be our most productive line.
Why would you want to mess with that? Why would you want to ensure that Gaudreau is matched against other teams top lines for home AND away games?

You underestimate Gaudreau performing again'st other teams top lines? When the Flames get last change they try and get Backlund and Frolik again'st their top line. When the Flames don't get last change, Monahan's line goes again'st the other teams top line. You actually think that Gaudreau's presence on Backlund's line will hurt them? Your comment hurts my head.

Yes, yes I do. It's why he's the best player in the league at home and one of the most ineffective top liners away from home. You can't ignore a statistic like that and there is obviously a reason for it.
At least you finally figured out how this Flames super star's name is spelled though. Kudos. Although you also provided the worst punctuation error I have seen in the past several years.
