The Sharks opened with a 3-0 lead after twenty minutes including two goals in the final minute of the period. The Kings have scored once in the second period, a power play goal by Dustin Brown and it is 3-1 late in the period.

Talk about a weird OOT with patterns. Both games had teams lead 3-0 (same thing in the Flames game). The Islanders took 2 periods to get to that score and then the Penguins turned it on, Crosby with 2 assists and the Penguins tie it up at 3-3. The Islanders who scored their 1st goal in the last minute of the 1st period, score the GWG in the last minute of the 3rd period. Anders Lee scored and 3 seconds later, the Isles score an empty net goal and win 5-3. Sweet revenge for the Isles from 12 days ago in the same rink. The Sharkies did the same thing as the Flames and had a 3-0 lead after the 1st period and scored 2 goals in 30 seconds. The difference is that the Sharks scored the 2 goals in the last minute of the period (the Flames do that in the 1st minute).
