Default TSN's Scott Cullen projected top 300 scorers

Remember when Oil fans were aghast that Johnny Gaudreau was projected to have the same number of points of RNH? Check out this year's projections:

Johnny slips to 14th. Does that mean the Flames get to sign him for less?

Scott Cullen has way too much time on his hands.

I'm curious to hear his rationale on why Gaudreau and Monahan are both due to regress.

But I will never hear it. Last time I asked him a question he got super defensive and argumentative for no reason.

Guy is quite insecure and not very insightful IMO.

He predicted the same last year.

I don't even understand why he predicts games played. What's the point of predicting injury, even it's based on prior seasons.

Silly.

He might as well title the article according to how it will be used:

"I joined a hockey pool and don't know any players, who is good?"

He's been off on those two for the last two years:

2014-2015
http://www2.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/feature/?ID=125019
Monahan - 32 points, Johnny - 55 points

2015-2016
http://www.tsn.ca/crosby-no-1-in-the...orers-1.360216
Monahan - 56 points, Johnny - 62 points

This year, he's got Monahan at 60 and Johnny at 72. So I guess Monahan is a lock for 65-70 Johnny is a lock for 80-90 lol.

They are really running out of stuff to write about. This is such a garbage article/list.

The season can't come soon enough for a multitude of reasons.

Cullen is a goof.
He predicted Gaudreau would score 62 last year.
I'll take the 16 more than his predicted again this year.

list is pretty tough on most young up and coming stars. Eichel, MacKinnon, Drouin, Bennett, Reinhart, Barkov etc. all seem to be pegged for stagnation or regression as well.

my suggestion is read up on as much Scott Cullen fantasy material as you can, and then join my pool so that your entrance fee can do directly into my ribeye steak fund.

Only 5 players over 80 points?

Kane will decline by 20 points?

The only thing that surprises me here is that the list isn't broken down into increments of 10s in a typical click-bate fashion.

Also, this guy has always been a goof and comes up with these crazy lists and predictions.

McDavid is gonna flop so hard from people's ludicrous predictions/expectations this season. I mean he's gonna be good. But most certainly not #2 good. There's a lot of instances where players in small samples produce at or over a ppg. It is completely different when you don't have a massive break in the middle due to injury and have to play the full 82. He won't be able to sustain that pace as a sophomore in a full season. No way. And I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong on that. I don't think Lucic is the kinda winger that can help set him up for such totals. These guys need to seriously step back from the Kool aid a little.

You guys understand he's the fantasy writer for TSN eh? It's literally his job to come up with stuff like this.

Any list of scoring leaders with Blake Comeau on it should be tossed in the nearest recycle bin.
