Johnson did play on the Flames ECHL affiliate in Adirondack last season.
The victim is suing Johnson for $3.95 million

Wasn't this the same guy who was found not guilty in another sexual assault case?

What was a 16 year old doing in a bar? I'd be going after that bar too if I were that girls parents.
Glad this pervert is off the streets and hopefully will never play a game in the NHL.

Former Windsor Spitfire Ben Johnson may be rude and homophobic, but he’s not a sex offender.
So ruled an Ontario court judge Thursday in finding the New Jersey Devils draft pick not guilty of forcing a woman to touch his exposed penis in the washroom of a Wyandotte Street West bar nearly three years ago.
Justice Micheline Rawlins said she accepts for fact that both Johnson and his accuser were at the Krooked Kilt on Jan. 13, 2013 and that there was an incident between them in the washroom that night.
But Rawlins said she doubted the incident occurred as Johnson’s accuser testified it did.

Yep he was found not guilty in another bathroom incident in a bar...straight trash.

In some states you can be in bars as minors.

Which states are these? Do you mean dance clubs that serve no alcohol?

In some (maybe all?) states minors are allowed to sit at tables in bars that serve food, but not allowed to sit at the bar itself.
Also some night clubs actually have an under 21 section where they cannot be served alcohol in that section.

Sounds like a horribly entitled person. The sad thing is if someone had more seriously called him out for his behavior sooner he might still have a hockey career to look forward to. As it stands I hope this is a warning to the other kids that you can and will be held accountable for your actions...

#### his career. He needed to be taught that so he did potentially ruin the lives of that poor girl and any other past or future victims of this piece of ####.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. If he had been taught about consent and just not being a completely horrible person sooner, *everyone* would be better off, including him. We enable this kind of behavior when we laugh or excuse away the behavior that leads up to this gross display of entitlement. It's in players own best interest to be held accountable before things escalate to felony.
Where were his coach and teammates? We already know where the parents are for players at this level.

I get that you meant everyone would be better off but you focused on him having a career in expressing that. He deserves no focus at this point, the victim(s) do and even when preventing they should be the focus, not lost opportunities. But then again in this ass backwards society maybe you are right because people care more about money and fame more than the well being of others.
