You know - who are the four most iconic figures in franchise history? Who are the four who you identify with as a Flame the most?
For me:
Iginla - McDonald - Fleury - MacInnis

Isn't this the "assembling the best possible flames team" but only the top 4? Thread is too much like the other, I do Beleive.

No, it's entirely different.
That thread allows to choose anyone who played for the Flames at any point, but you can cherrypick their best years in the NHL. You could put Stralman on your roster based on his performance in Tampa even though he only played like three preseason games with Calgary.
I'm talking about the four best players who you associate the Flaming C with. Not Olli Jokinen with Florida.

I wouldn't choose 4 heads, but rather an image for 4 elements. Having trouble finding the image, but for me it would be that iconic picture of Hunter, McDoanld and Peplinski hoisting the cup together (the cup being the 4th head so to speak)

I am going to take this in another direction. Mt Rushmore commemorates presidents for preserving or expanding the American republic so the Flames Mt Rushmore should commemorate owners/GMs/coaches who preserved or expanded the Flames dreams of winning a Cup.
