Air China warns travelers to watch out for “Indians, Pakistanis and black people” in London

Air China execs must not have noticed the international uproar sparked by a Chinese detergent company‘s racist ad earlier this year. In the September issue of its inflight magazine, the Chinese airline wholeheartedly embraced racial stereotypes, warning travelers to avoid areas of London inhabited by “Indians, Pakistanis and black people.”
“London is generally a safe place to travel, however precautions are needed when entering areas mainly populated by Indians, Pakistanis and black people,” reads Wings of China in English, CNBC reports. “We advise tourists not to go out alone at night, and females always to be accompanied by another person when traveling.”
Wings of China is a bilingual publication. The Chinese-language version of the tip describes areas populated by Indians, Pakistanis and black people as “relatively more chaotic.”
CNBC Beijing correspondent Haze Fan was flying with China’s state-owned airline, when she noticed the “Tips from Air China” section. Fan tweeted the picture to Sadiq Khan, London’s British-Pakistani mayor.
LOL, have you ever lived in asia? Everybody hates everybody.
I haven't.
But yeah, my brother-in-law lived in Japan for a few years and said people used to hear rude comments directed to him all the time by people who didn't know he could speak Japanese.

True. Racial stereotyping is pretty blatantly obvious and accepted in Asia. Watching some of the stuff on Hong Kong TV on how they depict white / black / Filipinos / Indian people would never fly here.

Also watch out for a-hole Chinese tourists pushing everyone else out of their way so they can get the best views of things with their selfie-stick extended iphone cameras.

Agreed. Bus-loads of Chinese tourists are the worst.

You forgot to add that they're each dragging a full sized luggage around at the same time. You better be watching your own heels and feet, they'll smash those without a care in the world. While they're not urinating or defecating in the middle of the mall or street that is.
Chinese tourists are the worst, honestly not trying to be racist, but they just seem to have a total disregard for others.
The only Chinese people who are able/can afford to leave and even be a tourist in the first place likely had to climb over and stomp on the bodies of the vast majority of other Chinese people too poor and left behind. At least that's the way I've guess at it.
Certainly it's an exaggeration but I wonder how much of it might be true.

I've never noticed anything particularly worse about Chinese tourists. Big tour groups in general are annoying. I think Chinese tend to tour in big groups more than say white people, but we all do it and they all get in the way for everyone. It's a small price to pay to have people come and just give our economy money.

With the Golden Larches coming out in Banff the next couple weeks get out early if you're planning on hitting up Lake Louise or Moraine Lake. The bus loads of Chinese tourists who do not give a flying eff is going to be on overload.
