Hell, even David Jones has shown more over the last few seasons than Bourque.

Don't forget the Avalanche will be down bodies because of the World Cup when training camp starts.
Landeskog, Duchene, Mackinnon, and Soderberg are all Avs forwards that will all be playing in the World Cup.
Bourque is likely a body to fill in for one of them.
