Boy, if Trocheck (22), Bjugstad (23) and Barkov (20) are all as good as they seem the Panthers are friggin getting a steal down the middle for a long time.
$14.75 for all three COMBINED for the next 5 seasons.
Bet they just wish they could have a do-over on the ole Bolland signing.

With McCann in the system now too that's deadly center depth.

I. Love. This. Deal.
Thank god they did something right over the last few days. Didn't love the Yandle and Reimer contracts.

I'm not sure about this, but he failed a recent physical, so he might be LTIRing the remainder of his contract. We'll see around training camp time.

Huberdeau-Barkov-Jagr
Jokinen-Trocheck-Smith
Crouse?-Bjugstad-McCann
Sceviour-McKenzie-Marchessault
Thornton/McKegg
IR: Bolland
Ekblad-Yandle
Demers-Matheson
Petrovic-Pysyk
Kampfer-Kindl
Luongo
Reimer
Berra
That team is going to be pretty ####ing good next year. Still need someone to replace Jagr eventually though.

Do you think Petrovic will or can play on the left side?

I honestly don't know, I just put together the most likely pairings. One of him or Pysyk can play on their opposite side. Otherwise, sub in Kindl on the 3rd pair: Kindl-Petrovic

The Panthers are going to be a very good team for years to come. Really like the lineup that Cali posted, that C depth is amazing. Also have some other 1sts/early 2nds still in the system (McCoshen, whom I like a lot, plus Hawryluk and Borgstrom). Tallon did an amazing job there.

I really like the decisions Florida has made lately, minus Yandle.
Should be a fun team to watch again next year!

Really hope they continue to build properly down there and then get relocated to Quebec City right as they are about to peak. Would be nice to do a reverse for the fans in Quebec to what they got when they lost their team the first time.

Florida has been making some great moves lately. They look like they will be the dark horse of the east for next year.

Your timeline's off. It was a couple years ago that the Panthers were rumored to be on the verge of moving, but they seem a lot more stable now. Especially with the resurgence in legitimate ticket sales last season.
The Hurricanes are the new "most likely to relocate" franchise, with some insiders quietly suggesting that it's when not if.
