Has anyone ever won on a hospital home lottery?
This could be a gear grinder post but it could make for a good thread. I’ve never won a damn thing. Like not even the entry level most basic prizes. None of my co workers who have been buying tickets for years have won either. In fact the only people ive ever known to win was my parents in the 90s who won tickets to a dinner theater. That’s literally it.
If it wasn’t for the money going to a good cause I would have stopped buying tickets years ago.
Anyone here ever win something half decent?

i seen at the stampede how they collect all that money for the lotto. the greed in their eyes as a "non profit"
same thing with home lotto . like seriously. home is 1.5 m they will probably sell 20m of tickets.

Didn't a former Calgary radio host (Roger Rhodes) win a house about a decade or two ago?
I won a luggage set.
Also won a firepit but we never picked it up.

We had a family member win the Stampede Home Lotto a couple years ago. They ended up selling it because the home was weird and on a crappy lot.

The CEO of my old company won the season ticket holder truck at the flames game a few years back.
Certainly did not need a new truck.

A friend of mine won a truck and boat in a raffle. I think it was for the Rotary or something like that, so not an actual home lottery. We were like 18 or 19 at the time. It was pretty cool because he parked the boat on the lake in summers and let anyone use it, so it was kind of a win for all of us.
