Where to Watch the Fireworks Tonight?

I saw an old thread from 2014, but am starting a new one.
I wanna bring my kids to see the show this year.

- Where's a good place to watch the fireworks, without having to deal with traffic downtown?

- Are they shot high enough that you can see them from farther (west of downtown)? I'd love to find a secret spot in the NW.

- The hill by the Shaganappi Golf Course looks like it has potential, assuming the fireworks are high enough. Has anyone been there?

- If I change my mind and decide to deal with the traffic, how early should we go to get a decent spot?

Ok, maybe not the best view of the DT show, but we did get DT and Mcmahon stadium fireworks, and the lightning show north of the city.
