Panthers trade Kulikov + 33rd OA to Buffalo for Mark Pysyk + 38th OA + 89th OA

Interesting. I've always been a big Kulikov fan (even if he hasn't reached the lofty expectations I had for him as a prospect.)

Looks like two separate trades - the pick swap, and then Kulikov for Pysyk.

Nice, Kulikov is a definite upgrade on Pysyk and we move up slightly in the draft.

i really like pysyk, won't be surprised if he ends up being a tanev. won't be surprised if injuries derail his career either though

Ugh. It is a big win for Buffalo. Kulikov is a legitimate top 4 d-man who can play on the top pairing when needed. Pysyk seems like a 3rd pairing guy at best. Seems like a pure cap dump for a soon to be UFA.
