My 15yr old just went into size 15 and we can't find anything, shoes, socks, sandals, slippers.
He likes Adidas and they are fine but the long order times is a pain. Is there anything in the city that caterers to young guys as well as men, besides the big and tall stores.
I know we do carry size 15 at Sport Chek, unfortunately it's just in limited styles because we really don't sell very many. If you send me a PM next week (I'm on vacation this week) of the style of shoe you're looking for, I can see what I can track down and what stores in Calgary have them.

Good luck. I've had size 15 feet for 25 years. My mom had a network of people that would let her know anytime they saw decent shoes in size 15, and my mom would then go try to pick them up before they were gone.

Splurge on the socks, by the way. They will last a long time as they're great quality and he'll be so much more comfortable and look more normal in them.

I'm a 15/16. I pretty much exclusively shop at the shoe company as they generally have a decent selection of large sizes.
At the shoe company you can definitely settle for something that will fit, but to get something you actually want you need to go online in my experience.

This has been becoming a problem for awhile now. Buying online and waiting and unliked styles when they finally show up.
My pal Kelly in high school had 17's. I could fit both of my feet in one of his shoes. He had to get custom made Nikes. He'd wear them out quick as well because he was 300lbs. I can't imagine the cost.
Lots of humbebragging about 'big feet' going on in this thread.
Conversely, I have tiny feet. Under size 8. Finding shoes under size 8 is always a challenge because they're always sold out. Most dress shoes don't go smaller than 8 either. It's even worse trying to go shoe shopping in the US because some places don't even stock smaller than a 9. Socks aren't as big as a problem. I pretty much have to go on shoe shopping sprees whenever I'm in Asia lol.
Hilarious was just about to come in and post this site. I don't have large feet. However, I did meet the owner of this site at a sushi bar in Hawaii. Super nice guy who explained how he started the site (has big feet, couldn't find the sizes he likes). Good to see it working out for him. Honestly thought when he told me the website it would be another flash in the pan.
Anyways, nice guy and seems like a good site.

That's good to know, because I have bought a lot of shoes and socks from there. A few Tall shirts, as well.

At one point a 9 was the average...
So basically shoe stores these days only carry sizes 9-12.
I have size 9-9.5 shoes. Everyone has my size all the time. Size 9 is also the standard size for "sample" shoes. So most stores will have extra size 9s available. Not gonna lie, it's pretty great.

I'm not going to disagree, with you. I live in sketchers and I'm not super proud of that. But I'm also not super pickey.
Is a place that has big shoes.
