Default Nest Thermostat install help

Late night project I was hoping to get done but am completely lost.
The old thermostat is not labeled with traditional labels.

I took it apart with the following
Black - operating voltage 24v negative
Red - operating voltage 24v positive
Blue - heating cooling output N/O
Green - second stage heating cooling output N/O
Black, Brown & Orange in 3 different slots all labeled fan output speed 1,2,3

This does not help me connect to the neat which is more traditionally labeled
Y1,Y2,G,O/B,RC, W1,W2,C,RH

I am having a hell of a time trying to find a way to cross reference these. Any help and a $10 Starbucks card will be emailed to you!

You may have already done this, but from experience in installing my Nest, the root may be at your furnace/AC. Open it up and look at where the wires go. Make a note of the colors and what connections those colors are hooked up to on your Nest and furnace/AC. You may have already done this, but in my case I could see where my wires were installed incorrectly on the furnace and I could correct it. Just remember to turn off your furnace/AC before moving any wires.

I wish it were that easy - I am in a apartment style condo with no access to the AC, humidifier or any of the other mechanical I may need to see.

Thank you for trying though!

Wish I could help more. If there is no access to the base units you may be out of luck. If the base equipment is not controlled/owned by you then the setup the building has is probably not compatible with the Nest. As much as it pains me to say this, you should re-install the old thermostat and get a refund on the Nest.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I had trouble with mine, due to some complication that I can't recall the details of.

So I talked to their help desk, sent them pictures of my system, and they sent me back the answer on how to set it up.

Pretty good support.
