So nice that UofC doesn't start until the 12th. :P
I remember those Mount Royal years of early back to schools. They sucked.
Too bad for those of you who are going to UofC 101 as well. I will be enjoying my 3 extra days of rest. Never went to my 101. Everyone I know who has gone, says it's a waste of time.

It's a good way to learn about all the resources that the University has to offer. Unless you sat down and did all that research yourself, it's a good way to get all that info at once. You'd be surprised at how many people don't even know test banks exist. Who knows, you might even make a few new friends there.

Ha...
As a "participant" in it, it was ok...nothing great. I met some ok people, and you do learn some of the resources...nothing to write home about, however. That said, I was in the first year it started.
Now to sound like a nerd, I was a leader for a year or 2. Now THAT was fun! Not so much the actual leading part, but the people i met....got my foot into rez parties...ahhh good times, all out of a nerdy position...
Anywho, that's pretty lame. But I go back to school, at DAlhousie, next week. Masters time for me.

My beef with UofC 101 was that they treated you like you were in kindergarten. I'm suprised they didn't have a rope for everyone to hold onto so no one got lost. It was good to learn about the university though.

I remember making coloured bead necklaces in mine. I went to the one seminar I wanted to see and then went home and enjoyed a further 2 days off.

Wasn't there a prize or something for those that completed the full UofC101 thing?

Yes, you had to get stamps or something to prove you were there.

Something ######ed to do with the Dinos... that was my year at least.
There also some moronic University wide Olympics for us kiddies, I didn't really get the whole picture of it, but it was all about competing faculties and the like.
Communications & Culture vs Engineering or something as gay.

Wed Sept 7 for me. The day before my 19th birthday. What a nice birthday present!
