I donated to the red cross here in the US, but it just so happens that when I put the phone number down on the front page of my site it got paged by MSN right away. So when you search 1800helpnow, my site comes up first. I thought in lieu of this I should make something that might get more people to donate to the red cross or salvation army or to any other local charity that is accepting donations for Katrina victims....

I'm a broke unemployed college student, but I am thinking of making a donation of $100 to the Red Cross. I can't really afford it, but I really want to help, even if in just a small way. I wish I had donated during 9/11 and any and all other disasters that occurred between then and now.
