Happy Mother's Day to mom, all moms on CP, and everyone else!

What are you guys up to today? Mother's Day brunches? Anyone do anything out of the ordinary today?

Remember that the Mother's Day Run is happening today so traffic will be slowed a bit on parts of Elbow near 4th St and MacLeod north of Chinook.

We are going to a lumberjack competition, hitting up some fair rides (I hate rides but I'll suck it up) and having delicious fair food for lunch. Then it's off to her aunts place for an extravagantly large Italian dinner. All in all it should be a fun day. I think we are going on a 1/3/5k fun run too, now that I think about it.

Also, as an aside to denote how terrible of a husband I am, this marks the 1st time in our 5 years together I have gotten my wife a present. Ever. She always buys what she wants and calls it her so-and-so day present. Not this time.

Going to the Canal for a few hours to watch the ships go through then an early dinner.

I watched our 3 month old for the day yesterday so she could get a solid "wine tasting" in. Looks like I'll be in charge today too lol

Skipped the standard restaurant thing this year, and went over to my folks and made them an epic brunch.... Well at least by my bachelor standards. It was much more appreciated. My folks really prefer staying in now, and it feels way nicer to do the work than just snap the Visa down on the table.
