Default April 9, EVERY TEAM is playing!

The final Sat. of the regular season all teams in the NHL playing. It'll be busy and fun to see who will be playing who in the 1st round of the playoffs. No series have been confirmed yet. Rogers has a quintuplet header lined up for the day. Now that's awesome. The first 3 OOT games are on SN1. Canucks, Jackets, Jets, Jays fan today.

Can Canucks even pass us? What's tie breaker? Season series? ROW? Might be cheering for Oil then if it means they have worse odds of drafting first again.

Canucks can't pass Calgary at this point, so by all means, cheer for them to lose.

Big games for the Bruins, Flyers, Red Wings, Rangers, and Islanders.

Flyers are currently on the outside looking in by 1 point, but have a game in hand.

Detroit and Boston both have 93 points, and Detroit is ahead only on ROWs, so if Detroit wins in a shootout, and Boston wins in regulation, we go to head to head matchup for a tiebreaker...that's not considering whether Philly wins both of their games, in which case, Detroit would miss the playoffs after 25 years due to having fewer points in the head to head with Boston.

Boston plays a relatively easy team in the Sens.

Philly plays a red hot Penguins team who have won 8 in a row. Tomorrow, Philly plays the Islanders tomorrow (see below).

Rangers play Detroit today, and are tied with the Islanders in points, but are behind them only because the Islanders have a game in hand. 3rd place in the division, or 1st wildcard spot is on the line, meaning these two teams will pay either the red hot Penguins, or the Florida Panthers.

The Islanders play a Sabres team today that has been pretty decent down the stretch, and then they'll play a playoff hungry Flyers team tomorrow...but then that game might be moot if the Flyers lose today and both the Red Wings and Bruins win today.

Confused yet? Don't feel bad if you are. Lots of variables still today in the east. Should be some exciting hockey for these 5 teams with something to play for still.

I was considering it since it would guarnatee the Oil don't finish last. Now that I have your permission it is settled. GO OILERS!!! Although having them finish dead last again is kind of nice too. I'll get back to you.

If Columbus can't beat Chicago and pass us in the standings, I hope Vancouver wins so they pass the Blue Jackets at least.

25. Winnipeg 76
26. Calgary 75
27. Columbus 74
28. Vancouver 73
-------------------
29. Edmonton 69
30. Toronto 69

1-0 Bruins, Pastrnak with a beauty.

Might be offside, getting challenged. Should count.

Go Columbus!

Darren Haynes
Darren Haynes – ‏@DarrenWHaynes

Blackhawks, who play Columbus tonight, are expected to be without Toews and Hjalmarsson (resting), Hossa and Shaw (hurt), Keith (suspended).

Better chance and winning the lottery would make the pain all go away.
