#Flyers to sign Ray Emery for contract for rest of regular season. He's not eligible for playoffs.

Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
Emery is on waivers. PHI has to put him there because he played overseas

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Wow, that would be the 4th team he's played on this year.

Good for him. I like it when backup goalies manage to extend their careers.

Mason will start every remaining RS game anyway. Makes sense to staple Emery to the bench and send Stolarz back down so that he can get playing time in the AHL.

What is their fascination with Ray Emery? What is this, his 3rd stint in Philly?

You'd think they'd know his uses by now.
