Default Would you rather go grey early or go bald ever?

Pretty simple question, based off of some discussion in the gear grinder thread.

Would you rather have your hair go grey early in life (say 20-30 years old) or go bald at any point in your life?

Personally, I am almost 27 and have a fair amount of grey, advancing quite quickly. I likely won't make it far into my 30's before it is outnumbering my colored hair. But I would much rather have this than ever going bald.

I would 100% rather go grey. No shred of me wants to go bald.

Bald, for sure. Early greying is super creepy. Sorry, man.

Grey no contest. If anything is makes you more distinguished and trustworthy looking.

Bald, seeing as how I shave my head now, it would just save me the trouble

Grey is super easy to fix and diy.

Bald...unless you're into lasers and such.

You can fix grey pretty easily. You can't fix bald.

As someone slowly going bald in my mid-20's, I would say that I would very much rather be going grey.

Even if you're vain enough to care about grey hair, you can at least dye it.

This is a no-brainer - if I went grey early, I'd just make sure that I looked older than I am through self-neglect so no one would know the difference.

Grey makes you look more distinguished and you can easily color your hair.

If you go bald, you are screwed and can either do a Trump quadruple comb-over or wear a William Shatner toupee!

Personally I'd go with the grey, but honestly? Some guys look great bald, others great with grey hair, and others still look terrible with either.

Grey, while seemingly a better option, can make guys in their 20's/early 30's look like super creeps.

Most of the men in my family have been bald, so I resigned myself to baldness at a young age. In fact, I expected to be a lot balder in my 40s than I am.

I had a good run and was over 35 before either started to be noticeable. Then, a race began... Going bald from the top down and going grey from the bottom up. So, I just shave it all off and that's it.

I can shave grey into bald. And unless I want pubes on my head, there is no vice-versa.

Grey. I wouldn't want to be the only one on both my mom and dad's side (cousins and relatives included other than those that married in) to be bald.

Grey is also easy to dye. Go on a crazy hair dye spree for a year then lie you killed your hair due to bad decisions. People won't have to think you had a crazy illness or anything.

Even if you like the bald look, there's always the shiny to stubble transition that make it obvious the reason you went chrome dome... Skullets are also not fashionable last time I checked.

Grey I guess, grow it out like Gandalf and smoke a big pipe chilling in a rocking chair.
