Great job on the article. I'm amazed you were able to write so much as I came away from that game with no strong feelings whatsoever.

I did think that Hamilton, Nakladal, Jokipakka, and Engelland all battled very hard against a big team. Good work by them.

Jooris playing better but he's desperate for that contract. Once he's signed, aren't they just going to get the guy who was in and out of the line up most of the year?

This part of the season is feeling similar to the season before last. I'm hoping for lottery luck, but it's good to see the guys battling hard and winning some games.

Is it just me, or are the Flames a bigger team since the deadline?

By my count the only player under 6' is Gaudreau, and he isn't going anywhere.

In terms of weight, 209lbs right now is the average if I recall correctly.

Unfortunately, teams rarely provide accurate height and weight figures.

Kev plays a much bigger and heavier game than Russell and anyone playing in place of Hudler will play at a bigger and heavier game, even if less effective(arguable this season).

I love the contribution of both players to the Flames, but I'm happy with where the roster sits.

My point is, that I don't think the youth has failed us, some of the Vets have. And that being said building size, especially quality size, takes time, and the team is trending in that direction.
