Greatest sports event of the year (as far as Im concerned).
Who do ya got? I think 3 picks seems reasonable-
Jason Day
Dustin Johnson
Jimmy Walker
Tiger is in, but the question for him is more likely to be whether he makes the cut. In a surprise move, he is also in the par 3 contest. I hope Lindsay Vonn isn't carrying his bag
A lot of talk leading up about Bubba essentially being voted as the least liked golfer. I can see it- from always blaming his caddy (appearing to anyway)to telling off spectators for moving too much.
Anyway, weather looks iffy. Could make for slow and wet conditions.
If it's soft out there and the course is playing really long, huge advantage to Rory. Otherwise I like Bubba again, or Phil as a darkhorse. Course just sets up perfectly for Bubba.

I think Mike Weir's career is done. He had that one good tournament last year but has only made the cut in one event this year, the one held in Malaysia.
And currently he is +6, so not a promising start.

He's not healthy though. I wonder if the modern golfers, with the way they train, and amount of power they are now required to generate, just can't play like that into their 40s as frequently as the last generation could.
Nice to see Els near the top of the leaderboard so far. Especially since I put a buck on him at 175-1!
For what it's worth I also put a dollar on each of McIlroy, Spieth, Mickelson, Kuchar and Poulter. I know a dollar isn't much but I don't follow golf closely enough to risk much and it's more just to give myself more of a reason to care about the tournament.
