Icon38 GTD Flames vs. Flyers - 5:00 SNW

Amid all the trade deadline hooplah, there's still a game tonight.

The last few games have been a horror-show, so there's a little Friday the 13th action on Leap Day:

Spoiler!

Go Flames

Derek Wills said on the radio that puck drop will actually be 6:00pm MST due to pre-game celebration of some sort.

So Hiller has multiple awful starts in a row and still gets the net, Ortio has one bad period after two good starts and he loses the net.

UNbold prediction. Hiller lets in 3 in first 8 shots.

They're both terrible. Why complain about who starts?

they should just alternate starts the rest of the year, ala Peewee hockey

Because one will likely never see the NHL after this season and the other still is young and has a chance to develop.

We know what Hiller is, he's not about to get better.

This.

I don't believe Hiller will ever be serviceable again.

There is an outside chance Ortio finds his groove.

man... remember that trade deadline when the flames were good, and then they traded for Jokinen. That deadline, the flames also faced the flyers, and the new combo of iginla-jokinen on the top line looked awesome, with jokinen netting 2 goals (if i remember correctly).

The deadline/gameday in philly feels so much different this time around.

We are on the front-end of back to backs. Either Hiller got the start tonight, or tomorrow night, pick your poison.

I own Voracek in a fantasy league, so tonight is good.
