A big Matthews point.
Well-played game. I liked Ortio's game. The 1st goal was a bit of a squeaker but it was a tough shot to read off the
backhand.
I wish they would get Joni a win this season.

We get good goaltending, but now we can't score. Just great. Flames played a pretty good game, just couldn't score. Halak was good.
Onto the next game and the deadline.

I really hate Halak. Like what in the hell? We should've had numerous goals on him. Was hoping for revenge tonight.
Its okay. Clearly our destiny is Matthews.

Had the better of the 1st 2 periods, but from the 3rd onwards, the Isles had us running about a bit. Should have made the most of the chances we had in the 1st 2 periods, can't afford not to pull away from decent teams because they'll come back to punish you.
Everyone got stuck in, but the application from some was a bit off tonight. Thought Gio and Brodie mishandled and misplaced pucks and passes that are usually on the money tonight. Outside the top line of forwards, thought the other 3 lines had trouble generating good chances. Felt like Halak didn't really have to work for his 30 odd saves tonight whereas Ortio did a bit more.
Plenty of positives, but man do we need some more offence on this team.

Fun game. Bounces didn't go the Flames' way but whatever...makes up for all the lucky bounces last year.
Can't really get angry about that result when everything was that exciting.

Great game. Wish we coulda got the W for Ortio because he deserves one after the last two games. Still, fun to watch THIS team even when they're losing.
