I don't see how he fits with Wideman on the team. We'd be spending even more money on the blue line next season than we did this season.

He looks good every time I've watched them. Big, strong, mobile, good skater, can move the puck. Just a solid defenseman.

He would be our 5th highest paid defenseman right now. Just ahead of Smid and Engelland. That kind of puts in perspective how overpaid our back end is. It will probably take another year to fix.
