Ok, I realize that losses might be better at this point but it is my b-day so they have to win. 5-2 for the good guys, GFG!

I'll never hope for a Flames loss. Just can't do it. That being said I sincerely believe they win this one, 3-2

I think the Flames will win this one because they're actually slipping down in the standings. Tied with the jets at 53 points with a game at hand so a win tonight would put them back to 25th.
6-2 Flames in a snooze fest where all the goals are scored when the other team's goalie nods off to sleep.

Minnesota is one of the few teams that's been worse than us lately. I think the Flames this one easily after the last couple of disappointments.

Hiller starts again...I don't understand how bad Hiller has to be for Ortio to get a start.

As much as I would like to see Ortio start you have to see it from Hartley's point of view. He has to do what he thinks gives his team the best chance to win. While Hiller has been terrible he has had flashes of great play in the past, Ortio not as much.

Should be a tough game tonight, the wild are reborn with Yeo gone and I believe they will come out flying tonight. Wishing your team to lose is a terribly mentality, but if the Flames lose from here on out - I am definitely less angry.

Apperently he can't be breathing in order for him to not be the starter. worst goalie in the league barnone. Thanks to him we'll have a great shot at Mathews though.

Wild vs Flames - 8:00 - SN1
Flames haven't had much success against the wild lately, but they have been playing terrible hockey as of late. No reason why flames should lose this.

Don't care if we win or lose, going to watch to hopefully see some Gaudreau, Bennett, Monahan, Hamilton, Brodie magic.

@Fan960Steinberg
Morning skate underway for the #Flames. Russell, Brodie, Backlund the absentees. Russell questionable tonight, other two likely maintenance.
@Kristen_Odland:
Bob Hartley having a lengthy chat with Jakub Nakladal this AM. To clarify, lengthy means one AM skate lap.

Well, maybe but Backlund is listed between Ferland and Jones at the moment. I'd like to think this means we'll be seeing Bennett back down the middle to finish out the season though.
