Back on the road, where the Flames meet the Devils in a battle of the dark and diabolic. But ignoring the obvious metaphors of fire and brimstone, That Darn Puppet just uses what The Garbage Garden State is known for:

Spoiler!

Devils games are usually boring as well as frustrating.

Start strong, don't let these guys play with a lead.

Kristen Odland @Kristen_Odland
Brett Kulak is currently rotating in Dennis Wideman's spot with TJ Brodie.

Kristen Odland @Kristen_Odland
Before you make a judgement though ... as much as Wideman struggled on Wednesday, I still don't see Gulutzan switching things up.

Flames trying to suck us back in with some hope. A 6 game winning streak should suffice for that.

Hopefully jokipakka capitalizes on Kulaks sickness and uses it to propel him to a great finish.

Flames have played two excellent games in a row. If they can make it 3 tonight, I just might be convinced that they've turned a corner. This is a great opportunity, as the Devils are terrible. Just need to get the early lead and build on it.

If the good Flames show up: 5-2 Flames.
If the bad Flames show up: 4-1 Devils.

if they play like they did last game, I wouldn't even be mad if they lose (but they shouldn't if they play like that)

but my hope/expectation that they continue to play at that level, is very low.

Yea, I'm still a little skeptical. This team has fooled me way too many times this year. They're gonna have to play at this level consistently for at least an 8-10 game span before I'm completely convinced.

Haha dude, I've been to a game at Prudential and its honestly not bad at all. Now if you were going to a game in Philly then I would be worried

Team can't afford to drop another one against a team like the Devils if they have hopes of going to the dance. I predict the team will continue what is the start of a long winning streak with a big 6-1 win.

Flames outshoot the Devils 39-21 and win 2-1 in OT. Taylor Hall with the critical give away in OT.

Man, this GDT is depressing.

Big big big win tonight! Flames come out with a big effort after mailing it in against Jersey earlier in the year. The coach has a long memory.
