The Sabres control the third period as they score three times and win 4-2. The Habs are simply terrible.

Habs are in a total free fall, wow. I would be surprised if Price even ends up coming back this season after seeing that clip of him favouring his leg and subsequently smashing his stick.

The other all Atlantic Divison game had the Tampa Bay Lightning defeating the Red Wings 3-1. Kucherov with two points.

The Lightning with their 3-1 win are just 5 points back of the Panthers for 2nd place in the eastern conf. Ben Bishop gets his 100th career win with the Bolts in this playoff deja vu series from last year. Detroit's goalie, Mrazek, had his 7 game road winning streak come to an end. The PP was the key in this game as the Bolts were 2/3 and the Red Wings were 0/2. The Sabres embarass the hometown Habs 4-2. Eichel is the real deal and Gionta must have been happy to score the empty netter against his former team. This downward spiral by the Habs doesn't look like it'll end soon.
