Now taking questions......

Whatever you've ever wanted to ask me personally, or an American, or a mailman, hunter, etc fire away!

Also, taking North American geography questions. I think I'm pretty good!

What are you favourite sports teams?

Ever have anyone answer the door nude while delivering mail?

Not done. Switched majors....again. I'm in a one class at a time degree completion program now. Works great for me because it's one night a week and of course, all of my general ed classes were completed long ago...so nothing but core. Should mesh pretty well with my schedule.

I was working for the postal service in another capacity (part time actually) and was given the opportunity to take the carrier test. Took it, and about a year later they got to my name on the list. Been doing it for a year now. The days fly by and the exercise is a huge bonus. The pay ain't bad either!

Flames of course, Denver Broncos in the NFL. Don't really watch NBA or baseball. I love college hockey and college basketball. Don't really have favorites in either though I root for U of Kansas and the local Wichita State Shockers in b-ball. Huge Montana Grizzlies fan!

More than you would think actually, although they've been somewhat covered with something every time. Always guys too. One female, wrapped in a comforter.

Do mailmen hate the reference of "going postal" or do they find it as funny as everyone else?

You're not going to go postal on me for asking are you?

We think it's hilarious actually, but we are warned that we are not to use the term while in uniform. Honestly, and I don't know why, but there are some strange cats in this line of work. There are a couple of guys in my station that wouldn't really surprise me if they walked in one day and started picking off managers.

I don't think CP keeps anybody from doing anything.

It's rightfully Canadian, but the Dutch will trade you straight up for Aruba.

Are you in good shape?

And do you stagger your deliveries and hold back mail from certain people til certain days of the week to become more efficient and reduce deliveries? (I always suspected my mailman does this as I get lots of mail 3 days a week and none the other two).

I would say, "Newman" like Jerry says it. So, no, not a big fan of that particular mailman.

Am I in good shape......, I'd have to answer no. Although, I have great stamina and don't struggle with the physical aspects of my job (which are significant). I could still lose a few pounds (few dozen actually!)

We only hold mail back if it's absolutely necessary due to low-staffing. (sick calls etc.) We aren't allowed to hold anything back but bulk mail ie (adds, catalogs, etc.). I personally don't hold anything back unless they force me to. To me, it's just asking for trouble. You could end up with more mail than you would ever want to carry. So I usually take absolutely everything every single day.

How do you deal with people's pets?

Had any face to face meetings with a pet?

I thought you were like a semester away from finishing Biology? What are you taking now Dis?

Great to hear that timing and school load is working out good for you. Best of luck with everything.

How much do you make if you don't mind. I was actually thinking of getting into the Mail industry and heard they pay extremely well.
