I'm sure more then a few of us have one going awaiting the greatness that is sure to be the 2005-2006 NHL season. Hell, I'm sure a lot of us had a number of seasons going while waiting for the lockout to end. When there is no NHL Hockey, you gotta make some yourself, afterall!

Pretty simple thread... Duscuss how your season is going. For what it's worth, should be a decent time killer, if anything........ lol.

I currently have the Flames at a 58-18 record with six games remaining in the season. First place in the West is secure, as is first place in the division, obviously. Got my key guys - Iginla, Reinprecht, Langkow and Kipper - pulled, subsequently dressing Jason Wiemer, Lynn Loyns and Eric Nystrom for the remaining games. Looks like I'll be playing St. Louis in the first round, but that could change quickly.

Edmonton? Second last in the West, DESPITE me added Pronger and Peca to their roster! ...They did beat me four of five times though with our sixth and final meeting coming up later.

My team leaders...

Iginla with 55 goals and 26 assists, Langkow with 31 goals and 36 assists and Reinprecht with 30 goals and 32 assists. Farfetched? Definatly... But Glen Murray also has 70 goals and 67 assists...

what level of play would you recommend so that you win most of your games but lose some? I play cheap.

Beginner? Easy? :P That's too simple for me, Medium is what I'm on. Apparently though, that's become too simple also.

Well I play 2K5 so I went from Amateur to Pro, so hopefully I can lose a few, and get used to it. I'm like that in all games. I always play easy and I hate myself for it.

Losing makes it realistic, I like realism in a game. So I don't mind it at all.

Obviously my current season lacked some. If Calgary can win almost 60 games this year, I'll get a Flames tattoo on my forehead and shave my legs - Just because.

I play on the hardest setting for EA, but my team is so good via trade and free agent signings that our boys are working on their 4th straight stanley cup in 4 seasons. in that span, we've not lost one game.

Lineup (and no one over 30 is allowed on the team):
I. Kovalchuk - B. Richards - D. Heatley
R. Nash - J. Spezza - M. Hossa
M. Aermel (drafted in 07) - P. Bergeron - M. Havlat
T. Dolak (drafted in 08) - T. Ruutu - M. Gaborik
(Backup line: A. Frolov - J. Olsen (drafted in 08) - M. Ryder)

J. Pitkanen - H. Vaisanen (drafted in 06)
J. Bouwmeester - N. Smith (drafted in 07)
D. Hamhuis - B. Stuart
(Backup D: C. Colaiacovo - F. Tyutin)

K. Lehtonen
A. Raycroft
(Backup G: P. Boone (drafted 06))

We are a very good hockey team.

i wouldn't care if we lost (we lost a decent amount in our first year since i dealt everyone over 30 for young guys that hadn't reached their potential), but with a team like that now, it's pretty difficult to do so.
