LF: Thursday Afternoon Shinny - 3 pm, West Hillhurst Arena
We are looking for a few extra regulars or spares. We already have 3 goalies. All skill levels - I'm not very good at all.
Most of us are over 40. This is no-contact, no-drama pick-up hockey. Many are business people downtown - good opportunity for networking.
$10 per player.
We can start playing October 29, 2015 at 3 pm to 4:15. West Hillhurst Arena. We have this ice time every week until March.
I understand there is a strict no-alcohol policy in the dressing rooms now. If we are caught, there will be no tolerance and we will lose the ice time.
The bar upstairs is re-opened – The Barn.

I'm in on my days off when I'm not skiing. So about 40% of the games? Might be able to make it before night shifts too.
Fair warning I'm marginally better than having to use the boards to stop...

Networking I am in! I probably can't do it every week but will try my best. I should also note that I am not over 40 but I am good at playing nice with others

We had a good skate, but need a few more bodies. Come out next week and check it out. We gave some good skaters that can keep up with you young bucks.

I saw nickerjones in the Barn - it is great what they did with the pub. First two pitchers are $10 each!

Yes, we agreed to invite under 40s. I don't know what is mandatory at the arena, but we are all fully equipped. I wear a caged helmet and mouth guard. Shoulder pads, elbow pads, cup, pants and shin pads.
I'm a very stay at home defence man and part time shot blocker.
