Good, keep Hudler off the ice until he's actually healed up.

Take with a grain of salt, as Millions sometimes speculates without any evidence

Roger Millions @RogMillions
I'm starting to think the Jiri Hudler problem is a lot more serious than a Day to Day injury. #Flames

Well of course Jiri would be seriously injured 2 months before we need to trade him.

That's good, I definitely haven't seen enough Mason Raymond on the powerplay lately.

Don't worry, Cammalleri showed us that he can play great after the trade deadline, Hudler will too.

At least this year that good play could put the team back in the playoffs unlike the year we kept Cammy

True, but he might be onto something this time. The Flames said on Saturday that Hudler was shut down as a precaution. 2 days on and he's still not fit to practice. But, saying that and knowing Millions record for accurate tweets, it'll turn to be a maintenance day for Hudler, with him being good to go for tomorrow.

What are the lines at practice this AM with Huds looking questionable for tomorrow?

Is it possible that this is a trade they are holding off on until after the TB game?

I get that an injury kept him out of the 3rd, but it could still be a minor tweak and they are really trying to avoid this being anything major. If they already have a trade in the works, wouldn't you keep him off the ice if he's not 100%?

Pure speculation, but with enough of us wondering about Drouin - and Hudler being a logical piece we want to move it can't be THAT far-fetched can it? Can the Flames Drs be instructed to keep a player off the ice for 'precautionary' reasons knowing full well it's to prepare for a trade?

How the hell does Colborne keep moving up in the lineup. It's truly baffling

Damn, Hudler just hasn't been the same since that pounding Regehr gave everyone late last season.

If TB gets Hudler he will be played like crazy and then traded at the deadline. IMO they would have no intention of resigning him.

So why bother? Yzerman is no horse trader.

Just trade Drouin for what you really want right nowandskip the extra work.

My bet is a couple of picks or pick and prospect get this done.

As long as Ferland and Backlund stay together, I'm glad. Those two feed off one another so well, they're made to play together like Marchand and Bergeron.
