Who goes on waivers?
Thought I'd make a thread about who would you put on waivers when Frolik comes back and if no one else is injured on the team. Does management send down Granlund? Highly unlikely as he has earned his spot. The candidates for waivers are presumed to be:
1. Raymond
2. Bollig
3. Jooris

What I want to happen? Waive Bollig or Colborne
What I think will happen? Granlund gets sent down or Jooris is waived

Of course Granlund would go. Hartley's boys will stay up.

I fully expect Raymond to be waived, see if there are any takers (there won't be), clear and then they send down Granlund.
Sad, but the likely scenario.

Simply put, I'd want Raymond off the team. Nothing but a passenger. Bollig adds some sandpaper, and honestly I have no problem with him sitting ina pressbox 75% of the time. Jooris is still working his bum off and is good at filling in on the 4th line.
In my mind, Granlund has supplanted Backlund (when Frolik returns) and Brad should actively be looking to trade Backs because he does have value to other teams. Granlund of course still needs refining, but he's already outpaced Backlund. Frolik can pick up Backlunds PK duties.
So in my perfect world, Raymond is waived (likely clears again), and is assigned and never plays in the NHL again. Backlund is traded, preferably for a roster forward, but I'd be fine with picks. Again, Granlund is the new Backlund.

I think the team should waive any player older than 26 who has a salary greater than 750k a year. That'll clean things up.

Raymond has lasted on this season's roster far longer than he should have, strictly due to injuries and circumstances beyond him. He should be the one to go. If it's not him, it will be Granlund who is sent down, as he's waiver exempt.

While we're on the subject, any word on Frolik's injury?

Treliving's boys will stay up. Hartley isn't the GM.

Unless they find a taker in a trade for Raymond I think it'll be Jooris. he's looked out of his depth this year.

I'd hope for Raymond or Bollig, but it'll probably be Granlund sent down.

Are we no longer launching Raymond into the sun?
Shame.
I reckon Granlund will go down (he shouldn't) but he will.

Jooris could potentially get claimed, Raymond or Bollig wouldn't. I guess it depends on what Treliving wants.

Is Frolik getting close? Saw he was listed as day to day in the pregame yeaterday.
I hope it is Raymond but suspect Granlund is sent down or Jooris is waived
I don't think Jooris gets claimed he is a dime a dozen

Why would they waive Colbone? Seriously underating his play this year I'd suggest.
