LF: Cheap Snowboarding Equipment

Hey, I have never gone snowboarding at all, ever...But i've heard rentals are a ripoff when there is affordable used equipment out there.

I am looking for some affordable used snowboarding equipment. I have no idea what I need, however, I will need something that would fit a size 8 shoe...I'm 5'11 and about 190lbs.

Hey I got some left over gear id sell. M Helly hansen jacket, gloves, goggles, helmet. I think I have boots but its size 9. PM for details.

Just to throw it out there but it's $30 for a rental board and boots from my store, Sports Rent, $5 extra for a helmet. Sometimes it's worth spending that little bit of cash to see if you like the sport before buying used stuff that would be presumably worn out or low quality if you're getting if for free or cheap. If you do buy anything make sure the boots are comfortable and fit properly,with skiing or boarding if your feet hurt you will hate it.
