Yes, the greatest cartoon in history is finally returning in 2016

Samurai Jack is coming back to the Cartoon Network after over a decade out of action. That’s according to Adult Swim, which posted the below teaser trailer.

The cartoon will air during Adult Swim’s Toonami block.

Series creator Genndy Tartakovsky is also returning to helm the new episodes.

“I think through the years, after we finished Jack, almost every year it seems like Samurai Jack has gotten more and more popular and more and more people have seen it,” Tartakovsky told ComicBook.com this past September. “I feel like it’s culminating to a fever pitch almost. I feel like it’s time to maybe finish the story.
