What is wrong with Crosby?
There has to be something, guy is too talented to be this bad. Malkin has not been great either. Is it a coaching thing?

He's been in the NHL since he was 18... The years of being "the guy" are taking its toll.. Hes probably due for a change of scenery . You can put Stamkos in the same boat soon

I think burn out from so much hockey over the last 5 or 6 years. No excuse I suppose but he's taken a lot of damage and has played waaaayy too much hockey in that time span.
Thats the price to pay as the face of an entire league.

He's not exactly Lebron James...
Crosby has missed around 125 games since the 10-11 season and played 38 playoff games
Ovechkin has missed 12 games and played 44 playoff games
Toews has missed 33 games, and played 78 playoff games
Kane has missed 35 and played 78 playoff games
Lebron has missed 34 games and played 107 playoff games!

Thanks for posting that... I do not follow basketball as close as hockey but have followed quite a bit of Lebron. Perhaps it is because any minor injury makes headlines but it seems like he has missed quite a bit as of late (last year I thought he missed 20 or so games for that back injury he went to Miami for help on).

Kinda crazy that a few years ago, saying Ovi was better than Crosby was a joke. Now, it doesn't seem like all that much a stretch.

A few things in my opinion.
I think he hasn't been the same since he got the mumps last year.
I also think Mike Johnston is not a good coach but I am very biased there.
I also think he would do well with a change of scenery.
